This week I’m sharing some tips from one of my current reads, The Ultimate Fertility Guidebook, by Dr. Christina Burns. This book is quickly becoming one of my go to references and is an awesome resource whether you’re trying to conceive naturally or via IVF.
I love this book because it is packed with tons of information while still keeping things simple, and includes diet and lifestyle recommendations that are practical and easy to follow. Shaped by research as well as her clinical experience as a fertility acupuncturist, Dr. Burns also identifies some of the biggest factors that can affect fertility today, such as inflammation, blood sugar and insulin regulation, stress, and toxins, with holistic and natural ways to combat them.
With so much information at our fingertips these days it can feel pretty overwhelming, so whether you’re actively trying to conceive, or just interested in increasing the likelihood of getting pregnant in the future this is a great place to start.
Stay tuned this month as we take a deeper dive and share some of the ways you can boost your fertility!
